An Innovator since the Start of the Internet
The Crown Software GmbH (limited company) was founded in April 2008. But our roots reach back to the start of the Internet era. As early as 1996 the Hamburg-based company Crown Neue Medien GmbH developed one of the first content management systems for the development and maintenance of websites.
Individual Software Development
Crown has wide experience in the development of individual software and supervises many long-term projects. These include, amongst others, the racing information system for the German Touring Car Championship DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen-Meisterschaft) and the chemical management system ChemA that was developed in cooperation with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology KIT.
Entropia Software
The existing know-how has been enhanced further since the 2008 take-over of Entropia Software GmbH that was founded in 2002. Commissioned by Cambridge Technology Partners, Entropia developed of a central blocking system for the credit and debit cards of German banks. And in addition an information system for validating signatures on behalf of the Regional Bank of Baden-Württemberg LBBW and a calibrating system for the production of sensors on behalf of Honeywell International Inc.

Today Crown’s portfolio is based on a range of optimized products based on Internet technology, which are provided, maintained and operated as a service. The six individual modules that were originally developed individually have been fused together to one complete solution. This created unique synergies.
